Often times, our customers will have legitimate concerns about their trees, but lack the expertise to assess their vitality or risk to people or property. For these occasions we offer health and risk assessments.
Most assessments begin on the ground with a visit from one of our ISA-certified, and Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ), arborists. These basic assessments are conversations with you, and we find we can convey the most robust information to you if you are with us in person.
We charge for the time spent, including travel to the site and any written documentation you request. This can be as little as $50 or as much as $200 (or more if you have many trees or are really a hike from Troy).
We may recommend an aerial inspection if issues of concern are identified out of reach of the ground. Since climbing the tree is risky, we always have another staff member present for such inspections. Because this increases the costs, we often include aerial inspections in visits by a crew who are coming to perform work on your other trees.
